Supreme Court allows Mississippi anti-LGBT law to stand

Dear Diary,

See, it’s things like this that really puts me off!

“Good laws like Mississippi’s protect freedom and harm no one,” said Kevin Theriot of Alliance Defending Freedom.

Excuse me? What about the person needing that wedding cake for his or her big day? Or the person needing to get their clothes clean before work tomorrow? Or the drag queen trying to take a cab home from work safely on Saturday night? Or the LGBT headed family that needs their roof repaired before the wet weather sets in? Or the person trying to get a quick bite to eat before their lunch break is over.

It’s not your job to judge people you don’t know according to your assumptions about their personal lives. Your job is to bake fucking cakes!

Luv,

#SisterDharma

  1. So, should a Muslim baker be forced to bake a cake decorated with a “Bomb Head” Muhammad on it? Should a Black baker be forced to bake a cake with a burning cross on it for a Klan party? Or is it just Christians that get singled out because of their faith?
