You Do Not Have The Right To Infringe Upon Mine!

People get caught up in tradition, doctrine, commandments, and ideologies and it’s sad that they don’t see that how we treat eachother is what matters, not some arbitrary rules on paper, written centuries ago. Those norms may have been just fine for those people back then, but the modern world has evolved and the rulebook we adhere to has got to evolve also. We have to live together, in the here and now. We exist in the present. We interact with and affect eachother everyday, in real life. If your “tradition” is something that harms me; that detracts from my potential to exist and live happily and freely, then we got a problem. Because I’m right here. The person who wrote that book is not. And I’ve got a loud mouth which I’m not at all shy about using.
