Smartphones: Extensions Of Ourselves

It appears that my mind now considers my smartphone to be so much a part of my physical body that I sometimes search for it, in vain, only to realize it’s been in my hand, or that I’ve been talking on it the whole time. I’m not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but I’d love to learn your opinion in the comments.

  1. I usually keep my smartphone in my right pants pocket and use my right hand. I picked up phone other day, put it to my left ear with left hand. Stuck my right hand in right pocket.

I immediately said “Where’s my phone.”

“Umm. I think you are talking to me on it”, he said

    Still laughing.
